TROY HEFLIN
Troy Heflin, MSOD, PCC, is a senior Human Resources and Organization Development executive with 25+ years of domestic and international leadership experience in a variety of industries and environments. He is an inclusive leader who thrives on developing people to optimize their potential, resulting in high employee engagement, enhanced customer experience and outstanding company results. His expertise lies in organization, leader, and talent development; executive coaching; employee engagement; and developing high performing cultures. Troy coaches leaders at all stages of their careers to increase their personal and professional effectiveness. He currently leads all aspects of the Human Resource function for Volvo’s financial services business. Volvo Financial Services is globally headquartered in Greensboro, NC with close to 1700 employees spread out across 52 countries. The organization has received several awards on its workplace culture, including being recognized as the most Diverse and Inclusive business within Volvo Group. In 2020, Volvo Financial Services received Top 100 (#20) Best Global Workplace recognition through the Great Place to Work Institute and Fortune magazine.
Troy holds a B.S. from Purdue University and a M.S. in Organization Development from Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine, he centered his thesis research around the impact that changing workforce demographics have on Talent Management practices and how to align across the generations. Additionally, he has completed PhD level courses on Human Development/Coaching, attaining the Evidenced Based coaching certificate from Fielding Graduate University. He is a recognized PCC level certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. Troy holds a Neuroscience for Leadership certification through the Academy of Brain Based leadership. He has recently completed an Executive Certificate from MIT, Sloan School of Management with focus areas of neuroscience, transitions, and digital disruption.
Troy is married and the proud father of three children. They happily reside in Greensboro, North Carolina.
